Pre-Trip Information

What To Expect

Our canyoning and caving tours are thrilling, physically engaging experiences that take place in natural environments. Here’s what you should be prepared for:

  • Wearing a wetsuit for 3 to 10 hours, depending on the tour.

  • Swimming in cold water.

  • Navigating slippery and uneven terrain.

  • Hiking up to 4 km uphill.

  • Potential rappelling directly into waterfalls.

  • Opportunities for natural slides and jumps (optional).

  • Prepare for your bags to be thrown. Do not bring anything you could break!

What To Bring

To ensure your comfort and safety, please bring the following items:

  • A full water bottle

  • Snacks (durable enough to withstand bags being thrown)

  • Appropriate footwear: The best choices are approach shoes or athletic sneakers. Trail runners are also suitable. Footwear must be:

    • Closed-toed and secure on your foot

    • Have a solid sole

    • Not permitted: Felt bottom boots, water shoes, crocs, rubber boots, sandals, or toe shoes.

    • Not recommended but acceptable: Hiking boots, basketball sneakers, skate shoes, or gym shoes.

  • A towel and change of clothes for after the tour.

  • Base layer clothing (non-cotton) for colder conditions or if you tend to get cold.

  • Eyewear considerations: If you wear glasses, bring a securing strap. Contact lenses are preferred—bring an extra pair in case they fall out.

  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following rules apply:

  • Littering of any kind will not be accepted. Be prepared to pack out what you pack in!

  • During our tour request meeting, we will go over results in pre tour questionnaire to confirm answers.
